Michael J. Morrison’s 15+ year legal career has focused on high-stakes litigation representing both large corporations and injured plaintiffs. Mike has extensive experience litigating toxic tort, product liability, and premises liability claims, and served as national counsel for a Fortune 500 company. Mike has handled all aspects of cases involving traumatic injuries including paralysis, brain trauma, mesothelioma, injuries requiring amputation, and death. Mike has secured numerous dismissals and obtained summary judgment on behalf of his corporate clients in jurisdictions across the country. His accolades include the 2016 Emerging Lawyers Magazine list for Product Liability Defense Law and on the Illinois Super Lawyers-Rising Stars list for 2011.

Mike obtained his undergraduate degree from Northern Illinois University on a four-year athletic scholarship. He played Division I Men’s Basketball for four years and was the team’s Co-Captain as a Senior. Mike was awarded the NIU Men’s Basketball Team’s Heart Award in 2003, which is given to the player who demonstrates the most inner drive and determination.

Mike is a third generation Lake County litigator who grew up in Deerfield. He is an avid golfer and currently resides in Lake Forest with his wife and three children.
